What is the Watchdog Latch?

Installation

• The latch can be installed one of two ways. Surface mounting is simpliest if you have a small gap between door and frame. Flush mounting can fit on any door but requires a shallow 1" recess in frame (no need to fill - simply leave coverplate mounted after child has grown). • All you need is a drill, utility knife, and a screwdriver.
• You can remove the hook and leave the mount as a coverplate after your child has grown (no hole to fill).
• After reading the instructions and gathering the tools, it should only take about 20 minutes to install.
